Rail rule to show tickets goes into effect in several states
The new policy requiring railroad passengers to display tickets before boarding trains begins today across Iowa Nebraska Missouri Kansas Oklahoma Minnesota and Arkansas. Train crews dislike the change due to increased boarding delays as locals note the shift in procedures. A Penny social by the Christian church is planned for Friday October 16 from 4 to 10 at Mrs. David Batte's home with all invited.
