Georgia’s thirteen electoral votes will go to William J. Bryan, continuing a solid Democratic pattern. Taft’s vote lagged Roosevelt by about 10,000. Mississippi’s ten electoral votes also favor the Democratic candidate. In Nebraska, Hepburn concedes defeat to Jamieson in the Eighth Iowa district. Paris Texas reports Alexander Price, white, convicted of rape with a total sentence of 107 years after pleading guilty to four other charges.
