Nighttime incident narrows to unclear details
Fragmentary OCR notes record a nighttime event with times listed as n a.m. and a.m. and abbreviations that obscure full names and actions. The scant text suggests a stop in progress but lacks concrete facts, locations, or outcomes for a clear summary.
Local Notes From Bryan and Nearby Towns
Ernest Adams of Taylor is in the city and a seven room house is for rent near the railroad. A new shipment of Hayler's candy is at McDougal's drug store and plans raise funds for Goliad storm sufferers. Charles Kolin and Rev McClung visited, while a serenading party entertained the junior editor. There are car hulls in stock, barber services at Simmons, and bond set at 1500 for John Fiela charged with murder.
