J M Hare has accepted the teller position at the City National Bank to succeed Ed S Derden who resigned to go into mercantile business. Hare, a well known Bryan businessman, brings commercial training and long office experience. He will start duties immediately.
The Bryan City Council ordains an election for Marshal Secretary and three city council members to be held at City Hall on the first Tuesday in April. The presiding officer and appointees will conduct the vote per city charter state election laws. Adopted March 8 1907 by Mayor J. E. Butler and City Secretary Frank Clarke.
