Commencement Sermon at Texas Woman's College
The Bryan First Baptist Church hosted a morning commencement sermon by Dr J W Loving of Houston and a evening missionary sermon by Dr Butler. Musicals included solos and duets led by Mrs Peale and Mrs Lillebridge with Prof Lillebridge at the organ. Dr Charlton read Proverbs 31 and Matthew in the scripture lessons. The second service featured Butler’s farewell sermon urging missionary zeal and support for Texas Woman's College with pledges of ongoing gifts. An undergraduate recital at the First Baptist church showcased piano pieces, vocal numbers, and impersonations by students.
