Local news notes Mr. and Mrs. Reed and Mrs. Jenkins visiting Waco and Houston while several residents from Dallas, Navasota, Wheelock, Martin, San Antonio, and Grimes County are in town. Visitors include Capt Searcy, Col Kerricks, and J W Coulter. shops hawk sweets, drugs, and meats as August 10 extends.
