Two Popular Young People Wed in Quiet Palestine Wedding
Mr. 8. C. Williams of Palestine and Miss Lillie May Jones of this city were quietly married yesterday afternoon at the bride’s sister Mrs. H. A. Burger’s home. Dr. J. D. West officiated as relatives and friends watched the couple depart for Rockport. The bride, reared in Bryan, is active socially and in the Shakespeare Club. the groom, formerly of Brazos, works for Amer county and tobacco interests, with headquarters in Palestine, where they will live.
