Assassin Mistook Kozlov For Trepoff In Park Killing
In St Petersburg on July 16 General Kozlov was shot four times at 9:20 pm during a music event at English Park near Alexander Palace. The assassin, seeing Kozlov who resembles Trepoff, compared faces with a photo before firing. Trepoff’s likeness was found in the killer’s pocket. Prince Andromiroff helped detain the shooter as crowds urged vengeance.

Heroic Motorman Risked Life in deadly streetcar crash
