In Kosciusko Mississippi twelve men accused in the Monroe Hallam and James Caston lynching face habeas corpus trials. The court ordered Robert Milner to be first tried with an alibi defense. The victims were two Black men shot by an armed group last July at a crossroads fourteen miles north. Governor Longino named state attorneys for the prosecution.
