Chicago report details a head on crash between passenger train No 38 and freight No 25 near Fowler Indiana at about 2 30 Saturday morning. initial death toll ranged from twelve to twenty five with many injured. the Queen City Special carried sleeping cars and a private car of C E Schaaf vice president of the road. none of the sleepers were hurt and the wreckage caught fire.
