Mr RB Mike shipped a pair of bronze turkeys weighing 75 pounds total with a 45 pound gobbler and 30 pound hen to Jack C Miller manager of the 101 Ranch at Bliss Oklahoma. Miller had arranged the deal after meeting last fall with the 101 Ranch Wild West show and plans to send seed corn from his ranch in return.

Ivey Foster saved a ten year old Bohemian girl left in a wagon as mules panicked and bolted down East Third street. Foster leaped from his laundry corner to grab the reins and stop the team after several blocks, earning praise from bystanders. Nearby reports note a January earthquake in Western Persia devastating sixty villages with 5000 to 6000 deaths.
