Governor Vetoes Interurban Bill in Texas Senate
In Austin on February 15 the governor sent a veto message against the senate bill allowing interurban railroads to condemn right of way. The senate postponed its anti double header bill to next Wednesday. The house ordered land office to stop recognizing canceled lands and approved a bill that immaterial misrepresentation in insurance applications does not void policies. Counties Cherokee Angelina Burnet Galveston Brazoria Chambers and Wharton exempt from fish law. Senate bill 118 on the state and Confederate Home release, tied to J. E. Allen will, expected $600 payment by the widow, passed on suspension of rules without opposition.
