Father shoots at aid man after child abduction attempt
In Beaumont a seven year old girl was lured by a man claiming to be a friend of her father and taken to an alley where she was injured. Gregory, the suspect, was arrested but the father Russell G Holder later boarded a car with a pistol and headed to the jail. A mob formed after the suspect departed, and Gregory was removed from custody. County Health Officers Nash attended the girl. doctors said she is not seriously injured.
