Old Beelzebub the bear and the Passadanky tale
In Old Passadanky a vengeful bear named Old Beelzebub, sought by Jepthy Wiggins, wreaked havoc by stealing two black sheep pelts and guiding Paley Simco to win Prudence Wiggins. Paley’s return to Jepthy and the bear’s dramatic white fur ride culminated in Paley marrying Prudence on Christmas Eve.
