Shakespeare Talk at Al and M College Lyceum
Frederic Warde spoke last night on Shakespeare and His Plays at the Al and M College Lyceum. He is a noted American platform entertainer known for Shakespearian stage work. The Eagle urges Confederate veterans to plan a boisterous supper for January 19 in memory of General Robert E. Lee. The Farmer's Union pushes three goals to farmers: reduce cotton acreage, grow more at home, and avoid debt. President's proposed party campaign funding is treated as a joke by the grave seigniors.
