Thirteen Yellow Fever Cases Reported in Natchez
Natchez physicians of the board of health examined and pronounced as yellow fever two patients a white woman and a negro man. Five convalescent negroes were found in the northeast end with seventeen suspected cases thirteen of which are yellow fever. Memphis officials say no yellow fever in Memphis after a Sunday visit by Governor Vardaman and Dr Hunter.
