Bryan Morning Eagle Radioed Notes From Texas and Washington
A column compiles a mixed batch of remarks and quips about Taft, Aguinaldo, prohibition in Georgia, and political labels. It notes Texas corn production, hats becoming scarce, a New Mexico pool controversy, and fashion trends for men including the “merry widow” bonnet style.
Bear memory and political ideals mix in a dated column
A column blends anecdotes of a Bronx bear and Ulysses’s dog Argo with political commentary. It criticizes Luke Wright for backing Taft in Tennessee, recalls David Miller Key as a cautionary example, and notes The Fort Worth Star's shift to gradual marketing of cotton. It closes with an advertisement for fresh bakery goods at Texas Bakery.
