Irrigated states prepare for large agriculture expo
A sweeping irrigated area exposition is planned with rivalry among agriculturists and horticulturists across Idaho Oregon Washington and Utah. Boise hosts the National Irrigation congress from September 8 to 9 with exhibitors raising funds and forming associations to present premium talking displays and crops. The Beet Raisers Association of Colorado aims for the silver loving cup and top sugar beet display.

Deluge Bends Southern Pacific Route at Langtry Texas
Langtry Texas August 13 1906 flood washes out bridges and tracks on the Southern Pacific line from Langtry to Lozier.
