Wreck Kills Six On Vestibuled Train at Red House
A vestibuled express left Chicago for New York and wrecked at Red House New York eight miles west of Salamanca. Six people died including two women and a child burned in two coaches and three sleepers. Fireman Bell and Express Messenger Gabriel were seriously injured. A brakeman on the freight also perished.

Through freight No. 31 derailed late last night at Lambert on the Mobile and Ohio railroad. Eight cars jumped the track and landed on the depot below destroying it. no one was inside. Brakeman B M Hessel of Meridian was seriously injured. A broken flange caused the crash. The cars carried grain.
