Revival Progress At Local Churches Generous Attendance Reported
Inclement weather did not hinder revival services at the Baptist church with about forty youth making public confession. Evangelist Compton led a full 11 o'clock service where two members joined, and 125 men and boys attended an afternoon sermon on Christian character. A women’s meeting at the Methodist church complemented the effort. By yesterday afternoon two more joined the church and conversions likely tally around seventy five. Businessmen joined the morning services seeking daily attendance from all locales.
