Methodist Rally Day Opens New Bryan Church
The Bryan Methodist congregation plans a large Sunday school and church rally on April 21 to inaugurate the new church with Bishop Ward preaching at the 11 am service and Rev L P Law at night. Organ and piano purchases arranged, 15 Sunday school rooms, 67 art glass windows, electric lighting, and a 1200 seating capacity church with rich interior finishes.

Sunday School Picnics Planned for April 1 at Wooten Wells
The school board favors a holiday on Friday April 1 to replace San Jacinto Day April 21. Baptist and Episcopal Sunday schools will unite for a picnic hosted near Wooten Wells, about 38 miles north of Bryan, with a special Houston & Texas Central train chartered. Other denominations also plan picnics, while the Free Baptist unit postpones.

Rev Challenner of the Christian church announces the selection of Evangelists Wilhite and Tuckerman for a revival starting May 15 after the Methodist meeting. The team includes Wilhite Mrs Wilhite and Mr Tuckerman. They just closed a large Kansas City meeting and are in Lawrence Kansas. The pastor pledges full support to make this Texas gathering the greatest yet.

Four A and M Baseball Dates Set at College Grounds
Manager E J Kyle of the A and M team announces four games at the College athletic grounds this week. On Wednesday and Thursday April 16 and 17 the A and M will face a strong Houston League team in fine shape. Friday and Saturday April 12 and 13 the Farmers meet Austin College of Sherman, reputed to be one of the state’s strongest college teams. Expect close contests, and an attractive venue for fans.

District Court Closes Spring Term Proceedings
Judge Scott wound up the spring term of the district court. The Bryan Press Co. versus H. and T. Railroad Co. and N. B. Tucker versus Southwestern Telephone and Telegraph Co. had motions for new trials overruled. Other motions were disposed of, cases dismissed, and adjournment followed yesterday evening.
