Mexican outlaw surrenders to serve two year prison term
Laredo Texas October 31 Jonie de Jos Santos Mexican of Webb county asked permission to serve a two year prison term after escaping from jail and living free for two years. He had been indicted by a grand jury and sentenced to the penitentiary for gambling on premises under his control. He surrendered without guards and said he wished to return home and live a model life. County officers provided the judgment and directed him to report to the penitentiary at Santaville.
