City Council Hearing On Water and Light Fails To Act
A called city council meeting presided by Mayor Maloney adjourned after 7 pm without action. Water and Light Company spoke through manager Preston and attorney Armstrong opposing the new rate ordinance. The council discussed auditing the company’s books and delaying a Stamford Tribune report, but no decisions were made.
