Absinthe Theme Screen Drama Shown With Realism
King Baggot stars in a two character drama about Absinthe and its ruinous effects. The film follows a troubled husband and his faithful wife as the tale traces addiction and tragedy in Paris and America. The production includes scenes in Montmartre and the Seine riverbank, with a dramatic plunge into the narcotic world and a climactic confrontation that tests endurance and fate.
