Poultry feed ruling sparks tax and tag debate
Attorney General rules that poultry feeds fall under the pure feed act and must be registered taxed and branded. A&M College official Youngblood had argued feeds for poultry were not feeds for farm stock but the AG counters that poultry feed is concentrated feeding stuff. Feed dealers in Fort Worth and Sherman warned of prosecutions if registrations are not completed.
