An assistant president of the Bt. Lamy Terminal Company was killed in his office when a man mistook him for the president and opened fire during the afternoon in Lamia Missouri. The gunman opened fire and fled, leaving investigators to pursue leads on motive. Local authorities described the incident as a fatal workplace shooting with no immediate arrests.

An examination found a small-caliber gunshot wound to the head, believed to be the cause of death. Officers expect further developments in a day or two.
