London report says negotiators won limited authority to sign armistice terms only if Greece joins. Greece refused to sign delaying the peace protocol as Turkish powers await Athens approval. Delegates adjourn until Thursday and will consult their home governments.
In Bahr Dardanelles Dec 17 another battle began this morning between Turkish and Greek led forces outside the entrance to the strait. Firing was heavy and ongoing.
