Guard Against Appendicitis Remedy Fraud
A fragmented 19th century health blurb warns Bryan readers to guard against appendicitis by dubious remedies. It cites ingredients like buckthorn bark and gheerine prepared in Adiertka, claiming a single dorm relieves sour stomach and constipation. The note names H.R Emme and a German remedy origin, typical of alarmist medical ads of the era.
