Browning to vote on Consumers Public Service franchise
The proposed ordinance grants Consumers Public Service Company of Brown County a twenty year franchise to build maintain and operate an electric distribution system in Browning Missouri with rights to erect poles wires and other equipment on streets and public places and to supply electricity for lighting heating and power. The measure sets election procedures and tax terms and requires acceptance by the company within thirty days after ratification.
