Deputy Jim Doane pursues a gang of train robbers in San Loreto county. After his horse dies, he is rescued by four horsemen led by Dolores Alvaro, the girl leader. He wakes three days later, learns of Dolores’s cattle rustling charge, and meets gambler Star La Rue who tricked Dolores’ father. Doane resigns after returning to the sheriff’s office. the sheriff expresses disbelief.
