Progressives of Sullivan County Organize at Milan Meeting
The Sullivan County progressives held a Milan gathering to form a permanent committee with C. D. Busick as chairman and Joe Nickell as secretary. Judge Fleming and Judge Caffee addressed the convention. Delegates to the St. Louis convention on September 3 were named, with J. E. Hollon and J. P. Painter elected to lead the interim committee on September 10.
