J N Carter longtime Linneus postmaster and prominent businessman died suddenly. Funeral held at Methodist Church with burial in I C C F cemetery. He was born April 9 1886 in Huntsville married Norma Pipes in 1910 and is survived by his wife three brothers and three sisters. He served Linneus since 1909 and belonged to the Masonic Order.

Mrs Hulda Breeding Engberg 55 died Saturday night May 19 1951 at her Hardin Missouri home after a life as wife neighbor and Christian Church member. She married Gus Engberg August 29 1926 and is survived by three sisters and one brother. Funeral services were held Monday at 2 pm at Larson Funeral Home Bucklin with Rev Smith officiating. Flower girls listed include Mrs Gleam Roach Mary Ann Ridgeway Lorena Norton Melba and Martha Cokerham.
