Fragments From A Sunday Diary With Odd Tales
The text records a sequence of disjoint diary like entries about a boy named Jake and friends. It references school, church, a congressman candidate, a squall house, white rats, and a chaotic daytime in a rural setting with children and teachers. The tone is atypical and fragmentary with colloquial spellings and idiosyncratic events.
