Captain H B Essington of 12 Farlin Avenue St Louis travels for National Sewing Machine Co. and has done so for over forty years. He served in the Civil War with the 203d Pa regiment and as captain of a company, marching from Goldsboro to Fort Fisher. At 97 he remains nimble and claims his road length and stamina will outlast others as his father supposedly lived to 125.
