Lita Flora Lillian Long daughter of Lewie and Corda Long living four miles east of Purdin died April 27 1910 aged 5 years 2 months 11 days after clothing caught fire during field work. She lived eight hours talking of Sunday school before death. Funeral held at home with grieving family. Also notes marriages and local civic events including Missouri picnic in Long Beach and Browning Missouri ordinance on public intoxication enacted May 12 1910.
