Mary M Harrison born August 5 1866 in Benton Point Ilowa married Joseph C Thompson August 16 1881 at Quincy Illinois. She moved to Browning twenty eight years ago joined the Christian church in 1889 and died May 12 after suffering consumption. Funeral held May 14 at home conducted by B D Bolling with burial at Jenkins cemetery beside her children.
Last Wednesday John Bailey was riding a horse and leading another when the second animal broke loose. The mounted horse kicked the other and struck Bailey, breaking three ribs, then trampled him as he tried to mount again. He was helped home, Dr. Whaley treated him, and Bailey is recovering.

Mrs P B Fields died suddenly Saturday during a storm after stomach pain. A early Christian believer, she is survived by eight children John Jeff Jacob James Mrs Wm Sayers Mrs Alice Taylor Mrs Julia K n n f o n g and Mrs Mora Shepherd. Burial took place Sunday at Fields cemetery amid a large gathering of relatives and friends.
