Local School Event Highlights Awards and Exercises

An audience praised a school entertainment with leading contest winners including Wm arle Fulton Mark Alspach and R J Potter. Geral ine Prather received a medal. Jenkins school sent two boys Cecil Taylor and Orville Vincent for diplomas while Agnes Ayers Christine Gable and Yivia Martin earned diplomas from our school. A Browning school official did not issue diplomas. The night ended with reflections on a fine season. John’s accident prompted a doctor’s arrival after an earlier injury. Mr Bausell’s statement on property and body disposition was noted. Funeral services were held Sunday at Mt Zion cemetery.
