Elizabeth I. Baker Keithley daughter of Amaliel V. and Jane Baker was born near Cedar Rapids Iowa February 15 1857 and died April 27 1944 at age 87. She married Ibert F. Keithley on April 14 1878 and had three children Hattie Myrick Alpha Lay and Werett T. Keithley. She joined a Christian Church early and remained faithful. Funeral by Rev Kenneth Tipton at Mt Zion with burial nearby.

She taught at Johnson school district before and after marriage to James Lester Martin. Survived by three children an aged mother and siblings. Funeral April 28 at Benbo Church with burial nearby and planned removal to Kaifong Grove.

William Pridemore Jr. was killed by a lightning strike while milking in a shed at his Meadville home. His wife was uninjured. Two vows and three calves also died. He was 36 and survived by his wife Lela Britten, three children, two sisters, and his mother. Funeral held at Mt. Olive Baptist Church with interment in Ogan Cemetery.
