Gibson Buys Far mers and Traders Bank at Dawn Mo
S L Gibson of the Peoples Bank purchased the Farmers and Traders Bank at Dawn Missouri in February. The bank, a private institution, has capital stock of 5009 and a certified surplus of 1000. Hand Crushed In Farm Accident Returns Home
Last Saturday afternoon Frank Peters a well known farmer living west of town was working with machinery when a hand was caught. Doctors Epperson and Whaley found the hand badly crushed and removed the little finger. Peters is recovering but will need months to regain use of the hand.
