Funeral services held June 11 at M E Church South Browning and June 5 at Browning Baptist Church. Interment in Locust Valley and Kai fung cemeteries. Funeral aides included Masons and I O O F Lodge members.

William Jonah Dodson born Sullivan county Missouri July 25 1847 died at his Browning Missouri home June 3 1935 aged 87 years 10 months and 9 days. He married Mary Frances Summers in 1866, mother of seven with two surviving children Jess and Grant. later married Ruth Dumfee producing Mary Agnes Stufflebean, and Mary Ann Fisher in 1921. A lifelong farmer stock raiser in Duncan township he remained active in community life until his death.

Mrs Russell Franklin Elsie Ann Taylor was born November 16 1874 at Owasco Missouri and died June 5 1935 at her home southeast of Milan after a lengthy illness. She married Russell Franklin in 1898 and had three children Vannie Joe and Chloe with Chloe dying in infancy. Survived by her husband two sons four siblings and many relatives. Funeral held at the family home and burial at Owasco cemetery with Rev Johnson officiating. The community mourns the loss of a devout Christian and devoted wife and mother.
