Pyrites Synopsis of a Western Adventure in Deadwood
In late summer 1876 Peter Dinsdale meets San Juan Joe in Deadwood while en route to the Black Hills. They aid Lottie Carl fleeing Indians, then encounter Iron Pyrites, a prospector. Joe’s crowd welcomes Dinsdale as tensions rise over a train robbery plot and Dinsdale’s gunman reputation. He fights Randy Allen, joins Pyrites on a prospecting trip, and departs with plans amid looming danger.
