Williams Family Arrives From Sidney Nebraska to Join Community

Returned from Nebraska Mr and Mrs George Williams of Sidney Neb arrived here the last of the week to make this their future home Mr Williams has held a good position with a large business concern in Sidney for the past several years but recently moved back to this city and has taken a post with the Farmers Store He is an excellent salesman and this well known business firm was fortunate in securing his services We join with their many friends in welcoming this excellent family to our city and hope they will be pleased among relatives and former friends.

J C Brooker manager of Farmers Lumber and Supply in Garden City Missouri sold lumber for thirty Missouri colony brooders after a single five dollar ad in the Garden City News. County agent F E Rogers organized a winter drive promoting colony brooders and portable hog houses with plans and prepaid reports. Brooker alone closed sales totaling thirty brooders and other yards reported seventy brooders and 112 hog houses in the same two month period.
