Death of James A Coffman at 91 in Missouri
James A Coffman known as Uncle Jim died May 11 1914 aged 91 years 6 months. Born in Anderson County Kentucky in 1822 he moved to Indiana at age nine and lived a long Christian life. He married Louisa Pike in 1848 and had ten children. five survive with spouses and many descendants. He remarried Rebecca Spencer and had three more children. He leaves his wife eight children 49 grandchildren 66 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren. He was baptized into the Christian Church at 21 and devoted to church and song.
