Annual meeting of Browning Telephone Exchange stockholders set for July 20 1916 at the Electric Theatre Browning Missouri. James B. Cox and Cora J. Pipes of Reger were married on Thursday July 1 1915 in Milan with Judge P A Sandefur officiating. The couple are among Reger’s prominent residents and well wishers extend congratulations and happiness.
Wade Hampton Hines and Worda Seaman of Sulli were married at the parsonage on July 13. The ceremony united the couple in a small town setting with family and friends in attendance.
At Jenkins school house on Sunday July 11 a graduation event recognized nine graduates from Nevins Prairie Seminary Jenkins and Mundell districts. Mrs Hermin Adams led the program in Supt E L Joyce absence with Rev W W Clay delivering the address and teachers Glenn Young Ethel Creason Maude Fields speaking.
Wayne Fields returned from Novinger to pitch for Milan in a 5 to 0 victory, fanning 15 and allowing one hit. Howe Arnold pitched for Henley Ranch against Kirksville, earning a 1 to 0 win with 14 strikeouts and two hits allowed.
