Rare Cattle Malady Reported in Central Missouri
A cattle disease of unusual occurrence, named ano-vulvitis, has appeared in feeding heifers in Central Missouri. Described by Dr. J W Connaway, it causes swelling and erosions around the anus and external genitals, with foul odor and possible fever and loss of appetite. Prompt veterinary treatment is advised to prevent market sacrifices.
