Col E D Reed of Wheatland Wyoming has been appointed as one of three on a shifting committee for the National Western Stock Show to be held in Denver in January. Henry Bailey, born May 18 1887 in Michigan, died suddenly on Saturday December 25 1909 at age 72. Funeral services were held December 27 at the First M E church, with burial in Hoover cemetery. His sons Christian R. and Curtis attended. daughter Nora was in Utah. The Peters Produce Co announces cash sales from January 1 1910. J W Oxley traded his residence and business for 320 acres near Howard Kansas for about $20 000 with move planned by March 1. Weather notes describe unusually cold winter with sledding, scarce hay, high hog prices, and tight stock feed conditions impacting pork profitability.
