Death of Andrew J. Meade in Missouri note
Andrew J. Meade, born May 22, 1860 in Russell county Virginia, died February 22 at his home southeast of the city after years of ill health. He married Mary Baker in 1882. they moved to Sullivan county Missouri and had four children, two of whom and the wife predeceased him. He is survived by daughters Mrs. Riley McCommas of Westwood California and Mrs. Margaret Sinclair of Los Angeles, plus relatives. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Luton at Knifong Church, with burial in Knifong Grove cemetery.
