Mr and Mrs Robert Richart and children and Alec Rinehart spent Sunday with Mr and Mrs Harold Rinehart and Donald and Gene. Mr and Mrs J D Seaman and Mr and Mrs Will Kenley visited Allen Fanning Sunday evening.
Mr and Mrs R D Cassity called on the sick Sunday afternoon visiting Mrs Riley Bales who broke her wrist. John McCollum and Charlotte Bowyer welcomed an 8 lb baby born Friday December 10. Elva Pearson Geneve Hess and two sons shopped in Chillicothe. Pulliam family hosted by Mr and Mrs Pulliam. Joe Creason on sick list a few days. John returned home from hospital Saturday. Ellen Miller visited Effie Pulliam Sunday. Glenn Duncan bought Hank Thurlo farm known as Bonnie Miller farm south of town. Thurlo family to move back to their Browning area farm.
Mrs Earl Abbott on the sick list. Families including the McCollums and McCollums visit Kirksville and Nevinger. The Community Club met Tuesday December 7 at the Cattey school house with games music and refreshments.
Mr and Mrs Glen Demery Janice and Glen McColl attended a Brookfield event on Saturday with Edgar McCol lum and Janice. Carrie Abbott and several Crist and McCollum families joined a council gathering Wednesday night. A school board meeting was hosted at Paul Crist home with members Edgar Otis McCollum and Paul Crist present.
