Silo fire ends in fatal blaze at Russell farm
While filling a silo near Galt, workers saw a small blaze at the bottom and doused it. A man inside called for help as the top erupted in blue flames. The interior workers could not escape rich with smoke and fire, and one man is believed to have lit a match to smoke, igniting the gas.
