John L Clevenger died August 8 1948 at his Missouri home aged 88. He came to Missouri in 1888 and farmed 67 years, married Mary Clevenger in 1884, survived by a brother and sister and several nieces nephews and a nephew foster son. Requiem Mass was held at St Marys Milan and burial followed in Schrock Cemetery.
